Zach Saw's Website
I am a software developer based in Melbourne, Australia who has intimate knowledge of Win32 and have been working with component based design patterns way before Anders Hejlsberg joined Microsoft in 1996.
Coming from a Borland Delphi / C++ Builder background, C# (and its .NET framework) seem like a complete port of Delphi (and VCL) into MSIL.
Heck, certain parts of the designer even have the same properties, methods and names. With so many Borland developers poached by Microsoft near the end of last century,
this was to be expected. This was to my delight, of course - as I did not have to relearn most of the things - I simply grew with the team.
I've created this website to serve as some sort of a blog for my daily encounters being a software developer and also
a place for other developers to download / purchase software I've written - particularly Microsoft Visual Studio Packages,
.NET controls and components.
Blogging my encounters and voicing out my rants and offering some workarounds / solutions (if I find one) will hopefully save my fellow software developers some precious time when
they face the same problem.
Check out my blogs here.
